On Feb. 6, 2024, STS Robotech (CEO Kim Ki-hwan), a leader in new technologies in Korea, delivered an annual scholarship of $10,000 to the engineering department of the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) in Cambodia, and attended a robotics seminar to present and discuss the current status of the Korean robot industry. At the meeting, he announced that he would take the lead in supporting university education on Cambodian robots and automation.

The scholarship is provided annually by the Department of Engineering to select and award outstanding performers, which contributes to improving Cambodia's engineering studies and raising awareness of robot technology. In addition, the winners will be offered the opportunity to work at STS Robotech for field trips to the Korean robot industry.

STS Robotech said it hopes the scholarship will serve as an opportunity to promote exchanges in education and science and technology between Korea and Cambodia and contribute to the development of Cambodia's robots and automation.
