The Korea Robot Industry Promotion Agency held the "2023 Robot Engineering Consulting Performance Presentation" with the Korea Institute of Production Technology on the 7th.

Robot engineering consulting is a technical advisory service conducted as part of the "Robot Utilization Manufacturing Innovation Support Project" being implemented by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Robot Industry Promotion Agency.

The event was held to share consulting achievements and improve the quality of consulting through technical exchanges between experts. This year, 33 additional consulting experts were selected, and a letter of appointment ceremony was also held.

Consulting cases were presented by the Korea Electronics Technology Institute, the Metarovility Institute, and the Korea Electronics Technology Institute, and Kim Ki-hwan, CEO of STS Robotech, introduced the robot introduction case.

Son Woong-hee, head of the Korea Robot Industry Promotion Agency, said, "We are improving the competitiveness and digitizing small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in Korea. We will do our best to achieve more innovation and results."

Meanwhile, robot engineering consulting is underway after receiving applications every quarter. Small and medium-sized Korean manufacturing companies that wish to introduce robots can receive expert consulting for free from existing process analysis to robot automation system design.
