The Korea Robot Industry Promotion Agency and the robot company STES Robotech announced on the 8th that they held a meeting with Cambodia's AI company Robot Factory on the 6th to prevent Minister Hem Bandi of Cambodia's Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology Innovation (Ministry of Industry) and discuss understanding and cooperation between the two countries related to the robot industry.

At the meeting, there were discussions on industrial development using robots, robot education for higher manpower in Cambodia, and the development of the fourth industry, and the Cambodian Ministry of Industry delivered an official invitation to the Korea Robot Industry Promotion Agency for "National Science and Technology and Innovation Day (Science Day)" and expressed its willingness to be an outpost for the East Asian robot industry.

At the meeting, Minister Hem Bandi asked for active support from the Korean robot industry for technical advice and support on the importance of technology in diversifying the Cambodian industry and practical alternatives to robot education and productivity increase through various robots.

Kim Ki-hwan, CEO of STS Robotech, promised the minister leading support and education for the development of the robot industry through lectures and scholarships to Cambodian young people with passion for robotics.

It also proposed the establishment of the "Cambodia Robot Industry Association" as a window for cooperation between the two countries and the need for leading robot institutions, and plans to introduce the 4th industrial response products and F&B robot services of the Korean robot industry by participating in the exhibition held in time for Science Day.

STS Robotech is a company specializing in machine-tending "robot SI" using CNC machine tools and is using the largest machine-tending cooperative robots in Korea's production line. About 350 domestic cooperative robots were introduced, and 128 machine-tending cooperative robots were supplied to more than 20 domestic companies last year.

In addition, it is actively entering the F&B field through chicken robots and unmanned coffee robots along with the first kimbap robot developed in Korea.
